Koraa Planner: a wedding planning SaaS we built and run
Koraa Planner is Koraa's own product: one web app that a couple uses together, from the first to-do to the guest photo gallery on the wedding day. It is the same stack and standards we use for agency projects.

The problem
- Indonesian couples plan weddings across WhatsApp groups, phone notes and scattered spreadsheets.
- Money leaks: deposits are paid, final payments are forgotten, and nobody knows the real total.
- Guest management is manual, and on the wedding day guest photos end up spread across dozens of chats.
- Foreign wedding apps don't cover local needs such as KUA paperwork, seserahan (gift trays), family uniforms or cash gifts.
What we built
- Planning: Indonesian checklists, budget per category with vendor deposit and payment schedules, wedding day rundown, moodboard and shot list.
- Guests: guest list with personal invitation cards and RSVP through WhatsApp links, seating plan, QR guest book for the reception desk.
- Wedding day: a shared photo gallery. Guests scan a QR code and upload from their phone without installing anything, and photos can be shown on a screen at the venue.
- Collaboration: partners, family or a wedding organiser can join the same plan, plus read-only share links and weekly reminder emails.
Business model
- Free to plan, with no time limit.
- Paid plans are a one-time payment per wedding (not a subscription), processed through an Indonesian payment gateway with QRIS.
- Partner programme for make-up artists, wedding organisers and photographers: their clients get a discount, partners earn a commission.
- Free tools without sign-up (cost calculator, catering portions, invitation text, rundown) bring visitors in from Google.
Under the hood
- Next.js (App Router) and TypeScript, PostgreSQL database.
- Servers and data in Indonesia on a Biznet VPS with Docker, files in S3-compatible object storage, daily backups.
- Email or Google login, transactional email, integrated payments with webhooks.
- Installable on the phone home screen like an app (PWA).
- Privacy: location and camera data are stripped from uploaded photos; guest gallery photos are deleted 12 months after the wedding, with reminders first.
- Hundreds of automated unit and end-to-end tests run before every release, including checks at phone width.
